Atlas air end is the core functional part of Atlas, which has a direct impact on the performance of the air compressor (reliability, displacement, energy consumption per unit). The bearing shells in the compressor have always been in a high-speed and high-temperature environment. Long term use can cause wear and affect the stability and efficiency of the machine head. Regular maintenance technical services are required to ensure the long-term continuous and stable operation of the machine.

1) Long term shutdown (including transportation), lack of oil at the machine head, causing blockage


2) Insufficient oil supply, including replacing or adding lubricating oil, or oil leakage due to blockage of the oil circuit, resulting in a shortage of oil in the machine head;

For bearings that are severely aged and worn, bearing wear can be checked by placing needles or balls in the bearings without removing them. If it is easy to remove, replacement is necessary; As the compressor runs for an extended period of time, the main bearing inevitably wears out, leading to axial stirring and radial turbulence of the screw. This change will change the gap between screws, between screws and the main housing, and between the front and rear end faces.


However, if the bearings are worn and the clearance of the host exceeds the allowable value, it will cause serious consequences. Specifically, external impurities fall on top. Gas filter paper, 1mm thick, all these iron filings are stuck inside.


1、 The friction between the internal thread and the front and rear face of the host, as well as between the screw and the host shell, causes a sharp increase in the load on the motor. The serious consequence is that the screws are locked tightly, and even the host is scrapped. If the motor maintenance response is not sensitive or malfunctions, the motor will burn out


2、 The attenuation and impurity of gas production are large, which may affect the normal production of the unit. There is a large amount of impurities, including impurities in oil, carbon deposition, coke, etc. Therefore, the selection and replacement of lubricants are even more important; It is more likely to occur when using residual lubricants or excessive use of the machine.


Method:


Turn on the machine for a few minutes until the oil temperature reaches normal temperature, turn off the machine until the internal pressure expands, open the oil tank cap, pour in detergent, tighten the oil tank, turn on the machine for 30 minutes, discard the old lubricating oil, and add new lubricating oil.
