Principle and Application of Air Compressor Electromagnetic Valve

A solenoid valve is composed of an electromagnetic coil and a magnetic core, and is a valve body that contains one or several holes. When the coil is energized or powered off, the operation of the magnetic core will cause the fluid to pass through the valve body or be cut off, in order to change the direction of the fluid. The electromagnetic components of an electromagnetic valve are composed of fixed iron cores, moving iron cores, coils, and other components; The valve body is composed of a spool valve core, spool valve sleeve, spring base, etc.

Installation Precautions

1. During installation, it should be noted that the arrow on the valve body should be aligned with the flow direction of the medium. Do not install in areas with direct dripping or splashing water. The solenoid valve should be installed vertically upwards;

2. The solenoid valve should ensure normal operation within a fluctuation range of 15% -10% of the rated voltage of the power supply;

3. After the installation of the solenoid valve, there should be no reverse pressure difference in the pipeline. And it needs to be powered on several times to make it suitable for temperature before it can be officially put into use;

4. Before installing the solenoid valve, the pipeline should be thoroughly cleaned. The medium introduced should be free of impurities. Install a filter in front of the valve;

5. When the solenoid valve malfunctions or is cleaned, a bypass device should be installed to ensure the continued operation of the system.

Common Troubleshooting

(1) If the solenoid valve wiring head is loose or the wire head falls off, the solenoid valve should not be electrified and the wire head can be tightened.

(2) The solenoid valve coil is burnt out and damped, causing poor insulation and magnetic leakage, resulting in excessive current inside the coil and burning. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent rainwater from entering the solenoid valve. In addition, if the spring is too hard, the reaction force is too large, the coil turns are too few, and the suction force is not enough, it can also cause the coil to burn out.

(3) The solenoid valve is stuck. When mechanical impurities are introduced or there is too little lubricating oil, it is easy to get stuck.
